I’ll be honest, this past year it has been incredibly hard for me to keep up with this blog. With the move to San Francisco and so many life changes on the personal and professional front, I have let this passion, that means so much to me, fall to the wayside. But there are no excuses. While blogging about fashion may seem silly to many, it is one of the things that brings me the most joy in life. Ever since I was a little girl I have been obsessed with fashion. Watching my mom (a former model) get glammed up in the most incredible outfits, I became fascinated with the details of the clothes and the feelings a certain look would evoke. As someone who excelled in math and sciences, I have always been convinced that I was a strictly left-brained non-creative type, unlike the rest of my family. As I’ve grown older, I’ve learned that one cannot effectively be successful in one area if they do not have balance in others. You cannot live a successful life within the confines of a spreadsheet, if you don’t wildly color outside of the lines in other aspects of life.
Now, it has become evident that fashion is my creative outlet, it is my art.
